What are the distinctions between the indigenous peoples of the United States including Native Hawaiians? What is Neptune’s Web? What are the physical and spiritual properties of semi-precious stones and minerals? What about the Hubble Telescope? What are the major phases of the current volcanic activity on the Big Island? Research topics will be chosen according to the students’ “passion” for a particular person, place or event in history. In a five-paragraph essay, students will be required to use varied resources not limited to internet sites.
